20th Foundation Day Celebrations
November 25, 2016
R & A Associates celebrated its 20th Foundation Day on October 22, 2016. This milestone event was celebrated with great fervor and enthusiasm by Team R & A in the presence of all their family members. The event was a great success with some enthralling dance performances by the very young boys and girls of R & A. The children of some of the partners and associates performed dances, played musical instruments, recited Shloka’s and sang songs which left the audience completely spell bound. Padma Sree, Dr Ananda Shankar Jayant India’s leading classical dancers, choreographers and dance scholar was the guest of honor. It indeed was a moment of pride for R & A. The well-articulated journey of her life spoken in very simple and humble way made a lasting inspiration on each and every one present for the occasion. The Annual Awards for the outstanding performers of team R & A under various categories were given by Mrs G. Eshwaramma, mother of our founder Partner Mr. G Raghu Babu. Apart from the evening of fun and frolic, dancing and making merry, many other activities were also organized as part of the 20th Foundation day celebrations: For the cricket enthusiast of team R & A, a match was organized which was played in the true spirit of sportsmanship. To inculcate the importance of giving back to the society various CSR activities were undertaken namely:
- A lunch was organized for more than 550 children at the Devnar Blind School. The entire team participated wholeheartedly by way of monetary contribution as well they all very lovingly served food to the children by their own hands. It was an inspirational moment for all.
- Blood Donation Camp organized at the office premises of R & A was also a great success with 20 associates donating blood for the benefit of the needy.
- A presentation was organized to motivate the team to take a pledge to donate their organs after their death so as to help save a human life. Quite a few of the associates took the pledge which indeed was very encouraging.
